Work, work, and all the work. Being the office manager and executive assistant to the CEO and VP for a start-up is basically a 24/7 job -- or so I'm finding. But, I interviewed a great candidate today to replace my old position. Things should settle down. For now, just a few updates:

We've been having all kinds of sports fun. First, we went to an Oakland A's game
with our friend Lawrence when he visited for Labor Day weekend.

Then last weekend we went to a Giants game. That stadium is just awesome. SF is lucky to have tons of sports options.

A few weeks ago boyfriend and I had a night just us so we decided to go check-out a little bar in the Mission. The Royal Cuckoo was neat. Live jazz music, cool atmosphere, and specialty drinks. Bring cash, but great place to start the night or just chill all romantic like. I feel so blessed to have him. No matter how much I work or how I'm feeling (currently a face full of snot and lots of sneezing), when I get home I just get happy. I don't know how to show him or the universe my gratitude. Sorry, end mushy. Moving on..

I joined a fantasy football team...and immediately started losing. Oh, well. I am learning in the process. Well, learning when I get over being frustrated. I'll never understand why I'm such a bad loser. I try and talk myself out of it, and occasionally rock a pretty convincing poker face. But, no lies -- bad loser. On the other hand, my team is called the Holyhead Harpies. Go gingers (almost in my case)! And, girls rule the world. Duh. If you don't know what I'm talking about: stop reading my blog. Just kidding, but seriously - you should google it.

I started taking an absolutely spectacular Pilates class (well, 5 of them until my Groupon wears out...I'll have to seriously consider joining this one). It's called The Pad. The instructors have really advanced knowledge, you can tell even in the regular class. I would love to go 2-3 times a week. Plus its in Cow Hollow which is just my favorite favorite neighborhood here in the city. The bike ride from our apartment is strenuous, but it makes for double the work-out and I love biking the city at dusk. San Francisco is the most beautiful early in the morning and right at dusk. I'm not talking weather either, just the feeling. It's Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady when she's walking the market after leaving the Higgins house....just quiet and calm and free. Like an environment with no limitations (if that makes sense). You can walk around and sing to yourself, not even the flower girls will notice.

I think that's it for now. I'll keep trying to stay in touch.

Oh! And just a few things I found on the net (always time for a quick surf)...

Want one of these so bad.
What a lovely idea.
For the wish list.
Giving advice with three perspectives.
Love these business fierce pants.
The cutest nursery I've ever seen.
